I live in Beattyville and will glad to act as a ridge runner of sorts between Heidleburg and Tarr Ridge in the gorge. Good cause...I'll be thrilled to see Ky finally bring the trail to national prominance. wudhipy

I've been hiking sections of the Sheltowee Trace before it had a name! It's had ups and downs, for a while I thought sections had been closed. I am so glad to see this resurgence in love of a great trail. I'll be happy to help.

Great trail worth the attention. I have biked from Tripplet Creek to KY 1174. Also rode on Big Limestone and Lakeview Ridge trails. Awesome hills and technical sections are not for the queasy. Nice to have a trail system like this so close to home.
