Recognizing our Volunteer of the Month

Katherine Stone

Volunteers are the life-blood of the STA. Faithful volunteers work on a diverse lists of projects within the STA. From clearing trail, building trail, leading outdoor activities, working with the Executive Director in the home office, the work of the STA can not get done without our volunteers. Each month we recognize the volunteer of the month and in the month of December it’s Katherine Stone from Lexington, KY. Serving as the volunteer coordinator of the 2022 Gathering’s “Silent Auction”, Katherine exceeded all expectations when she secured over 30 donations from area businesses and supporters. Through her efforts, the Silent Auction raised nearly $5,000.00 toward the work of the STA. We are grateful for Katherine’s contributions and are thrilled to name her the Sheltowee Trace Assoication’s Volunteer of the Month for December. .
