Spring Chasing Waterfalls Weekend
STA Members! Get set for a relaxing weekend chasing waterfalls May 10- May 12th, filled with camping and hiking in the stunning Big South Fork NRRA. This weekend, we’re doing self-guided hikes to nearby waterfalls. Guests will all stay at Blair Creek Resort, enjoy dinners together, and have the option to hike alone or together.
Choose between camping, glamping or one of the 2 cozy cabins. We will gather around the campfire (or in the barn if it’s raining) for group meals.

The STA is offering a beginner’s backpacking weekend May 31st to June 2d in the Big South Fork NRRA. Perfect for the individual looking to get into backpacking, overnighting in the woods. Learn essential skills to survive in the woods.
Grayson Highlands - A.T. Hike

Grayson Highlands State Park, VA
Would you like to extend the backpacking experience you’ve gained on the Sheltowee to a new location? Consider joining the STA on a field trip to Grayson Highlands State Park in Virginia Thursday, June 13-Sunday June 16. Note: this trip falls on Father’s day weekend. It would be appropriate for children over the age of 12 or with prior backpacking experience. LEASHED dogs are allowed on this section of the trail, but there may be a group limit on the total number of dogs depending on van space. Space is limited to first 9 hikers that register and pay the fee. STA membership required.
