Going for a Hike?

Help Us Continue to Improve Your Trace Experience By Sharing Your Plans

Many people use the Trace every day for various activities: backpacking, hiking, horse riding, biking, and off-road driving. We would appreciate your help in our efforts to keep track of Trace users and plans to day hike, section hike, thru-hike, bike ride, and ride a horse.

This is a volunteer effort and is NOT required to get out on the Trace.

Your voluntary support in providing this information helps us understand why you are coming, where you are visiting the Trace and enables us to share with the Forest Service / Park Service this information as we make decisions concerning the Trace.

These numbers play a part in how the Sheltowee Trace NRT gets funding. It also helps the STA when we apply for grants to work on the Trace. If we can't prove the trail is getting used, we can't get funding to maintain it. Takes less than 5 minutes to fill out this form and tell us your plans! The difference it makes could last a lifetime. Thank you!
